MANILA – The Philippine Creative Industries Development Council (PCIDC) has officially opened its call for endorsements, aiming to identify and onboard key representatives from the private sector to ensure a comprehensive representation in addressing the needs of the country’s creative sector PBA

Aldaba, stated that the PCIDC, currently composed of leaders from ten government agencies with the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as the chairperson, is reaching out to business support organizations and creative workers associations to endorse professionals who have dedicated a decade or more to their specific creative industry domain PBA

“We're seeking nine industry leaders, each representing a distinct creative domain PBA

Their insights and experiences will ensure that the PCIDC’s strategies are not only innovative but also grounded in the realities of the industry,” Aldaba emphasized PBA

As articulated in Section 4 of the Republic Act No PBA

11904, also known as the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (PCIDA), endorsements are currently sought for domains including (1) Audiovisual Media, (2) Digital Interactive Media, (3) Creative Services, (4) Design, (5) Publishing and Printed Media, (6) Performing Arts, (7) Visual Arts, (8) Traditional Cultural Expressions, and (9) Cultural Sites PBA
